Betty Jane Snyder Morgan

Betty Jane Snyder Morgan beloved Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great –Great Grandmother, and Friend, after a courageous battle with dementia passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of January 10, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Betty was born on August 17, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Raymond Wilford and Janey Landwaard Snyder.  Betty had 3 brothers Raymond (Deceased), Fulmer (Deceased), and Jay Snyder.  She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, and Graduated from South High School. Betty was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and married the love of her life Ernest C Morgan on April 11, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah and they were sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on November 24, 1958.
Betty and Ernie had 6 amazing children Gary, Pamela, Sandra, Debra, Brian and Tamra.  She served in the church choir, and shared her love of music, singing and Christmas with all she loved.  Betty is survived by her brother Jay Snyder, and her children: Gary (Carolyn) Morgan, Pamela Johnson, Sandy Morgan, Debra (Dave) Glines, Brian (Wendy) Morgan, and Tamra Allen (Troy Mciff), her 25 Grandchildren, 55 Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her love Ernie Morgan and grandson Jacob Morgan.  A lady of CLASS, who has graced us with her presence for 90 years, has returned to Ernie, and now they can dance again.  She will be greatly missed, we send our love always and we will see you again someday! A viewing will be held on Friday January 13th from 9:45am to 10:45am an hour prior to funeral services at Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary 4670 S Highland Dr., Holladay, UT 84117 for anyone wishing to pay final respects.  The funeral services will be held Friday January 13th at 11am at Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary.  The Interment will directly follow the funeral service, AT Memorial Holladay Cemetery at 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay, UT 84117, where Betty’s final resting place will be next to her beloved Ernie!
