Betty Jane Peck Gerber

Betty Jane Peck Gerber, age 91, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on April 7, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Russell Peck and Betsy Lavinia Zundel. She married Alvin Aaron Gerber on October 23, 1948.
Betty was a wonderful, kind mother, sister, friend and grandmother. She loved dancing, singing and entertaining. She was fun-loving and loved to play Chinese Checkers and “May I” and she was a fantastic candy maker! She was a Temple worker and used all her talents. Everything she had, she utilized to bless her posterity. She loved her flower garden.
She is survived by Lavon Peck Curtain, Nancy Kay Chadwick and sister-in-law, Beverly Buxton Peck.
She is preceded in death by Vera Peck, Dorothy Peck, Grant Peck, Russell Peck, Dean Robinson, Tom Peck, Lucille Latta and Verda Hardy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020, at the LDS Meetinghouse located at 4260 West Sams Boulevard, Kearns, Utah 84118 at 2:00 pm with a Viewing to be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123, immediately following.
