Betty J. Hudson

January 14, 1927 ~ March 16, 2016
Betty Hudson, wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and aunt, passed away March 16, 2016 with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.
Betty went to be with the love of her life, Bud, who passed away February 15, 2016. Betty was born January 14, 1927 to Clare and Olive Jensen in her grandparent’s cabin in Mt. Pleasant, UT.
Mother’s life was her family. She loved spending time at her Aunt Arva and Uncle Merrill’s farm in Moroni. Betty and Bud met when she was 14 years old. They joked about it, because then Bud joined the Navy and mom waited for him to come home. Betty and Bud were married June 26, 1948 and that is when their life together started. They loved camping, fishing and going on road trips. Betty worked at State Farm Insurance and retired in 1990.
Betty is survived by sons: Rob and Kyle (Denise); daughter Kelly; grandchildren: Chris (Annette), Ryan, Heather, Lance (Sara) and Jessica and 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandra Askee; She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; parents, Clare and Olive; son, Rick and daughter, Dayle Lyn.
A special thank you to Danville Support Services, Robert Valencia, Intermountain Hospice, Brittany, Cheri and Juanita for the special care they gave to our parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E., Murray, UT. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services. Interment at Elysian Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S., Millcreek, UT. Condolences may be left at www.MemorialUtah.com.
