Betty F. Fowler, 91, passed away on June 12, 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on August 11, 1921 in Hampton, Iowa the daughter of Harry and Nettie Hardy. She married Floyd L. (Sonny) Fowler on September 21, 1941
She was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed needlework, crossword puzzles, visiting family and baking Christmas cookies. She was a Past Worthy Grand Matron, OES.
She is survived by her son Rev. F. Cole Fowler (Dianne), daughters Jan French (Rick) and Sue Fowler, grandsons Rev Matt Fowler (Margo) Jason Fowler (Jennifer), 6 Great-grandchildren, and “adopted” daughters Marni, and many others.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd L. Fowler, and sons Floyd Jerry Fowler and Forrest Tom Fowler.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Christ United Methodist church on 2375 E. 3300 S. A Viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E. and one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Elysian Gardens, SLC, UT.
