Bert Thomas Morse

Bert Thomas Morse passed away On November 26, 2021 in Draper, Utah from complications of cancer. Bert was born on August 16, 1938 to Helen De Labrum and Jennings Morse. Bert and his twin brother Bart spent their childhood on the family farm in Sandy, Utah.
He married Delene Harvey on August 2, 1957 in Salt Lake City. Together they raised three children: Tom, Bryan, and Linda in Midvale, Utah. In 1988 he and mom moved back to “the farm” where they lived out the rest of their lives.
He worked at various jobs throughout the years including the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office. He retired from Hercules in the early 1990’s where he met many lifelong friends.
Dad had a great sense of humor and was always making jokes even when he wasn’t feeling his best. He loved to drive his truck everyday even if it was just down to Jim’s Restaurant or Black Bear to get something to eat or coffee with his friends. He had many friends throughout the years and was loved by his neighbors who looked after him. Dad loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren dearly and he will be greatly missed by all.
Bert is survived by his son Tom (Chris) Morse, daughter Linda (Darin) Bradshaw, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and his companion for the last 10 years Linda Farnsworth.
He is preceded in death by his mother, wife Delene, son Bryan, and his twin brother Bart.
The family would like to thank the loving nurses from Renew Hospice for the love and kindness shown to our father.
A viewing will be held in his honor on Friday, December 3rd 10:00 – 11:45 AM with graveside service to follow at 12:00 PM at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, Sandy, Utah.
