Bernardo Beltran Gutierrez

Bernardo Beltran Gutierrez Aka Junior, Born January 14, 1942 passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 14, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Bernardo is survived by his children: Brenda (Gary) Hillyard, Rick Gutierrez, and Daniel Gutierrez; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie Gutierrez, his daughter Laurie Gutierrez and granddaughter, Miranda Lynn Gutierrez.

Those who knew Junior best can recall his larger than life stories about his adventures in Africa and the Conka Conko’s, his love for hunting, a sweet tooth that could only be satisfied with candy and pastries. He loved a good bargain and would always say it’s not what you make it’s what you save, he also enjoyed watching his old western movies and of course his oldies music.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East Murray, UT. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 23, 2024 at 11:00 am at Memorial Murray Mortuary with grave side services immediately following at Murray City Cemetery.
