Ben (Bernhardt) Henschke

Ben passed away on March 20th, 2018 due to natural causes. Eldest of three brothers (Harold, Roger), he grew up in SLC, UT and went to South High where he held a track record for many years. Ben served in the United States Air Force. He was a proud member of Pipefitter’s Local 140 for 55 years. Ben married and later divorced Sandra Nofsinger and had two children; Jeffrey Ben (deceased) and Heidi Ann. He married and later divorced Jeanette Webb who had three girls; Jeanne, Annett and Cyndee and they became the happy Brady Bunch! Margie Conkle came into his life and they spent 17 years together as best friends and lovers.
Dad loved his Wednesdays for bowling and “boys’ day”. He loved fishing, cutting wood and outdoors. Dad cherished the time he spent with his grand/great grand kids who brought him joy and happiness. He is survived by his kids Heidi (Troy), Cyndee (Mike), Jeanne (Steve), and Annett (Dennis), his 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and his most beloved pet bird- Rufus. Graveside service at 11 with a viewing one hour prior will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery on March 29th, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please donate to www.servicedogproject.org.
