Beatrice Grace Eskelsen Brother
1926 ~ 2017

Beatrice (Bea) was born in Murray, Utah, on New Year’s day in 1926 to John Emanual  Eskelsen and Leone Minnie (Dumas). After a prolonged illness, she passed easily into God’s hands in her home in Sandy, Utah on 8 May 2017 at the age of 91.
Beatrice married Albert Brother September 11, 1941 in Paris Idaho. After the war, they purchased a house in Glendale, Utah and began to raise their family.
She was always wanting to help others and became a nurse. Bea was very active with her family, work, and other activities including ceramics, quilting, sewing, crocheting and other crafts. She jokingly acquired the nick-name of “Busy Bee”. She loved her dogs, cats, and other critters as well.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, brother Russell, sister Genevieve (Holmgren), eldest son Gerald (Jerry), eldest daughter Linda (Powell, Fortner), youngest daughter Marsha (Searle) and two grandchildren, Tyler and David. She is survived by her son, Gregory (Greg) as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bea will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Canyons Church at P.O. Box 71399, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84171.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13 at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held from 10 am to 10:45 am prior to the services.
