Bastijaantje Vanwyngaarden Vanschenkhof

Bastijaantje VanWyngaarden VanSchenkhof passed away on January 4, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She married Arie VanSchenkhof in 1952 in The Netherlands. Arie and Sjaan came to Utah with her sister Barbara (Leen Hennekes) and family to be with their brothers Bram (Mart) and Piet (Nellie). They brought a little bit of Holland to share with their family and friends. Through their traditions we will always be Dutch.
Those who loved her knew her as Sjaan, Jeanne, or Aunt Jane. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her grandchildren Mitchell and Jessica were the joys of her life. They will be lost without their Oma and Opa.
A special thank you to Barbara Schmidt who was like a daughter and her children were loved as grandchildren. Also a thank you to Cottonwood Creek (Misty, Charie and staff), and Envision Hospice (Michelle and Jessica) for the love and care you gave to her and her family during this transition in her life.
Jeanne was survived by her daughters Joanne Hampton (LaDell) and Barbara Nieuwland (Hans) and grandchildren. A private family gathering was held in her honor.
You are not alone anymore. You will finally be with those you dearly loved who have gone before you.
