Barbara Nessen

Barbara Kay Nessen died on November 17, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 55. She was born in Heber, Utah to Jerry and Barbara Barnes. She married the love of her life, Rodney Nessen, on December 27, 1997.
Barbara loved to crochet, making warm blankets for everyone she knew. Most of all, she loved her family and being with her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband; Rodney Nessen, her father and step-mother; Jerry and Bev Barnes, her brothers and sisters; Nancy (Norris) Proctor, Charles (Lu Baze) Barnes, David Barnes, Tillie Barnes, Bradley Barnes, Lisa (Jody) Petersen, Scott (Jon) Barnes, Kelly (Frank Keiki) Barnes, Betty (Preston) Guerts, her children; Christopher (Buffy) Proctor, Joshua (Shantel) Proctor, Neals Proctor, and Nicole (Jeremy Cooke) Proctor and her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Barbara Barnes, sister; Becky Burns, nephew; Shawn Ryan Burns, as well as her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Services will be held on November 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery at 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.), Cottonwood Heights, UT.
