Barbara M (Hoffman) Savage passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born November 29, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to Francis and Ella (Culver) Hoffman. Barbara married Paul M Savage on September 21, 1946 in Detroit.
Barbara was a secretary for over thirty years at Cleveland Twist Drill, was the Membership Chairman of the Oakland County Genealogical Society for many years and a Life Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The family would like to thank the care providers and residents at Beehive Homes for their love, care and support of Barbara for the past two years.
She is survived by her son Paul (Maureen Wilson) and daughter Pam (Gary Muenchausen), granddaughter Kristin (Anthony Carter), and great-granddaughter Vivian Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson Andrew Muenchausen.
Family will receive friends Saturday 1 p.m. until Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons funeral home, 2600 Crooks Rd, Troy (btw Maple and Big Beaver). Burial will take place privately at White Chapel Cemetery.
