Barbara Lott Rosenhan

BarBara Lott Rosenhan passed away on Sept 8, 2016, with her husband and her children by her side. Our dear wife and mother is survived by her husband, Arvon, children Gene (Janet) Ritchie, Mark Ritchie, Sr, Peggy Garcia, Bill (Cindy) Ritchie, Victoria (Larry) Witherow, stepson Tom (Valerie) Rosenhan, her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, and their families, friends, and great grandpuppies.
Born May 3, 1925, in Salt Lake City, Utah, BarBara was the daughter of Kenith Eugene Lott and Veneta Matilda Clayton Lott, and sister to Kenith (Jan) Lott, II. She lived most of her life in Salt Lake City.  BarBara married Arvon, her soulmate, on Sept 4, 1965.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple on June 19, 2014. BarBara worked for many years at her family’s steel company and later ran two successful businesses with Arvon.
She enjoyed traveling with Arvon near and far; some of her favorite places were Park City, Sun Valley, Newport Beach, Hong Kong, and Capri. BarBara loved playing tennis with her friends at the Cottonwood Club, reading, discussing books with her book club ladies, attending her monthly Wed ladies luncheons, and public television mysteries.  She had enjoyed time as a church librarian, and later, home teacher.
BarBara is preceded in death by her parents, brother, and first husband.
A graveside service will be held at Holladay Memorial Park on Wed, Sept 14, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.
