Barbara Jean Lipsey

Barbara Jean Lipsey, age 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 15, 2024, in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born on April 14, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joseph Pruit and Gertrude Moffat. She married Don D. Lipsey.

Barbara was an avid reader. She loved playing the piano, sewing, needlepoint, and traveling. 

Barbara received her associate’s degree. She worked as a medical records secretary. 

Barbara is survived by her son Bryan (Jackie) Lipsey of Minnesota; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Don; two sons Brent and Billy Lipsey; and her parents.
