Barbara J Harris

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, Barbara J Harris passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016. She was born on January 5, 1927 to William and Linore Thompson in Mount Pleasant, Utah where she grew up and attended Wasatch Academy. She married Joe “Johnee” Harris on March 4, 1944 in Manti, Utah. They settled and raised their family, her greatest joy, in Magna, Utah. Above all she was a beautiful, intelligent lady. Barbara is survived by her husband Joe, her children, Steve (Julie) Harris, Scott (Kathy) Harris, and Leslie (Daigh) Tufts, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice, and brother Niel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016, 11 AM with a viewing one hour prior to the service, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah. Interment will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
