Barbara Hinckley

Barbara Derbyshire Hinckley, 85, peacefully died April 28, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 10, 1929 to Frederick and Ethel Dazley Derbyshire in Salt Lake City. She graduated from West High School and married Tharon Hinckley in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 66 years on April 7th. They had eight children. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in numerous callings. Her hobbies and talents included quilting, crocheting, knitting, sewing and cooking. She loved attending her children’s events and never missed a performance, match or game.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, a brother, a son, and a grandson. She is survived by her husband, Tharon, children Tharoll (Myrna), Bonnie, Lynn (Teri), Eva (Philip), Bryon (Susan), Annette (Paul) and Cynthia (Lin), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great greats.

Services will be Tuesday, May 5th at 11:00 at the Kearns 5th Ward chapel 4620 West 5215 South, Kearns, Utah. There will be a viewing Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 at the same location.
Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
