Barbara Hansen

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully passed on February 24, 2014 at the age of 85 from natural causes. Barbara was born on May 27, 1928 in Hollywood, California. Her family later moved to Nephi, Utah in 1939. She graduated from Nephi High School and attended Utah State University. She met and married Keith Hansen in 1954. From this union two sons, Kim Hansen and Kevin Hansen (Kathy) were born. She had four grandchildren; Hillary, Brandon, Travis and Nichole. Also four great-grandchildren.
Barbara also leaves a brother, Richard Foote (Tammy) and Noreen Foote (sister-in-law). She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mable Foote, her husband, Keith Hansen, her brother, Charles Foote and sisters Jackie Gough (Jim) and Eileen Maycock (Bob).
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Nephi City Cemetery at Noon. A private family service will be held at the Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary at 9:00 a.m. before the Graveside Services.
Our family extends heartfelt appreciation to Emeritus Care and Hospice. A special thanks to her brother and wife, Richard Foote (Tammy) for being with her during her final journey. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to The Alzheimer’s Association.
