Barbara Brainich Jentzsch

October 12, 1932 — February 6, 2021

October 12, 1932 – February 6, 2021
Barbara Brainich Jentzsch was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 12, 1932 to loving parents, Oswald Brainich and Annigje Maria Bakker.  She had a Dutch heritage that she loved and treasured throughout her life.  She married David Paul Jentzsch, on August 15, 1953 and they had four children.
Her happiest times were serving as a teacher to children and women in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She served as a hostess at the Joseph Smith Building for 8 years and served for many years in the Jordan River Temple.  She later served a mission with her husband to the Washington D.C. Temple.
Her most happy and precious moments were with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Each one brought her something precious about them and touched her life.  She loved them and they loved her.  Her kisses, hugs, and laughter will be deeply missed by us all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, by one week and her son-in-law, Greg Dunnavant, by two weeks, but is now joyfully with them.  She is survived by her children; David (Lu Ann) Jentzsch, Debbie (Scott) Chatwin, Cindy Dunnavant, and Heidi (John) Dansie, 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Viewing and Funeral Services will be in conjunction with her husband’s held at Memorial Estates Mountain View, 3115 E. 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.), Cottonwood Heights.
A viewing will be on Tuesday, February 9th from 6-8 p.m.  Another viewing will be held on Wednesday morning, February 10th from 10-11 a.m. one hour prior to funeral services.
