“I Stand All Amazed at the Love Jesus Offers Me”. Our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away. Bonnie Gay Clark was born October 5, 1942 to Donald S. Gilbert and Helen Wootton in Salt Lake City, Utah, and married her best friend and eternal partner June 24, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple. Gay attended Murray High School, then graduated from the University of Utah then worked as a teacher until she was blessed with children. She used her love of music to serve in the Church conducting many choirs, bearing her fervent testimony in Christ through song and also taught piano and harp. Other things she enjoyed were skiing, tennis, reading and crafts.
Survived by children Paul (Keiko), Jody and three grandchildren, Alissa, Erika and Zackary and her brother Donald W. Gilbert (Judy). Preceded in death by her husband, Denny.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017, 11:00 AM at the West Point 14th Ward Chapel, 2852 West 300 North, West Point, UT, with a visitation 1 hour prior to services. Interment at Holladay Memorial Park. Memories may be shared at www.memorialutah.com
