Arthur Mathie

LaMar Mathie, age 81, passed away on September 20, 2013 at home after a long illness. He was born March 9, 1932 in Huntington, Utah and married Kathryn Faye Jones October 27, 1951.
He is survived by daughters Marsha (Jim) Munsell, Tammie Cook, and KayLene Redhair; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jarron Mathie and his son-in-law, Paul Redhair.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 1-2:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm in the Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to thank those that helped during LaMar’s extended illness, especially his doctors and nurses. A special thanks goes to Malory and Camille.
