Our loving sister and aunt, Arlene Tanner, 86, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013.
She was born on June 26, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ida Mae Fullmer and Stannard Leroy Tanner. She was the second of three daughters. She attended school at South High.
Arlene worked for many years at LDS Hospital where she retired from in 1990. Arlene loved to spend time with her family and her beloved cats, Blossom and Shadow. She loved to travel, watch old Western movies, and listen to music.
She is survived by her younger sister, Merla (William L.) Lujan, 7 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, her older sister, Betty Mae Woodward, and niece, Vicki Koelliker.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, SLC, UT. Funeral Directors: Deseret Mortuary
