Arlene Hicks

Our beautiful sweet gram has gone to be with the lord, her husband of 40 years, her daughter, and her grandson on January 2, 2022.
She was born in Oklahoma to Orva and Bertha Marler. She was one of eight children. She married her one true love K.L. Hicks on September 18, 1944. They had their daughter, Kay Lynn. She had two children, Jimmy and Rebecca (Billy), four great grandchildren: Megan, Jimmy, Markie, and Ashlee, and four great-great grandchildren. She was a waitress at Bratten’s for 26 years. She loved gardening, cooking, and traveling with her family. She loved being outdoors!
Gram was kind and generous. She loved her family most of all.
We love you, Gram!
A graveside service will be held at Murray City Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 7. A viewing will be held prior at Memorial Murray Mortuary 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah 84121 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
