Ardrin “Paul” Eliason, beloved husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa passed away after 77 years of life on June 16, 2015 in his home after a short fight with an aggressive cancer. Born July 13, 1937 to Henry and Lucy Eliason in Huron, South Dakota. He retired from the University of Utah after 30 yrs. of service. He is survived by the love of his life whom he was married to just 10 days shy of 54 years, Janis Eliason; his children, Sue Reed, Wally Eliason (Ellen), Ed Eliason (Brittany), and Paula Eliason (Cassy); grandchildren, Paul Reed, Stephen Reed, Megan Pfaff (Chris), Lyndsey Eliason, Cannon Eliason, Hunter Eliason, Logan Nester, and Phoenix “Fifi” Eliason and great grandchildren, Matthew Reed, Lillianna Reed (and his future great grandkids); siblings, Bill Eliason and Penny Boyle. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him as a friend and neighbor.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 19, 2015 at the LDS Chapel, 7255 South 2200 West, West Jordan, UT. Viewings will be held from
6-8:00 pm, Thursday, at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, UT.
