Standing tall and incredibly resilient at only 4′ 9,” the grand matriarch of our lives, Arda Reynolds Klossner, died August 28, 2015. We often referred to her as “The Come Back Kid” as she continually fought and defeated several life-threatening illnesses. Finally, in her 99th year, she peacefully left this life to join her beloved husband, Ernest Alfred (who died in 1995) and her parents and siblings. It was a great privilege to be with her in the last weeks of her life. She smiled as we talked, sang to her and kissed her sweet face and held her talented hands that once created beautiful paintings, knitting and crochet. Before passing, she proudly declared: “I said ‘No’ to the devil!”
She leaves behind sons Ernest John (Wendy), Hans Jeff (Sophie), and daughter Renon (Craig) Hulet; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, (7800 South, 3115 East, SLC) with a visitation before the service from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
