Arabella Elizabeth “Debbie” Ortega, age 37, passed away on December 5, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on June 15, 1976 to Tony and Lucille Ortega in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was a graduate of West High School and then went on to graduate from Cosmetology School and worked in the industry for many years. In recent years, she went back to school in pursuit of a degree in Sociology in order to fulfill her dream of becoming an advocate for abused children. She enjoyed writing poetry, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Arabella is survived by her father, Tony Ortega; brother Brian (KrisDee) Ortega; nephews, Brayden, Jake, and Dylan; grandmother, Sylveria Ortega; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille. A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Redwood Memorial Estates located at 6500 S.
