In loving memory of our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, who passed away on December 31, 2015. Tony was born in Republic, PA. on July 31, 1924 to Anthony and Johanna Bozich. He married Gloria Fallentine on April 9, 1944 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May, 21, 1953.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria, his sister Johanna, his brothers Rudy and Ted, and his grandson Brian Bozich. He is survived by his sister Eleanor Sigwalt, six children, Anthony T. Bozich III, Craig A. Bozich (Sarah), Carol K. West (Chad), Greta O. Butler (John), Gail F. Conlin (T.C.), Eric D. Bozich (Cobie), 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Tony received degrees from Duquesne University and Harvard Business Management School. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps in WWII. He flew 48 missions assigned to the 9th Air Force as a bombardier in the B-26 Martin Marauder and received the Purple Heart. He retired from the Army Air Corps Reserve with the rank of Captain.
He had a long career in the trucking industry and was President and CEO of IML Freight, Inc. and was the owner of Clark Tank Lines.
Tony was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings. He served on the High Council and was currently serving as Ward Mission Leader and in the Salt Lake Temple at the recommend Desk. He was a longtime supporter and fan of the BYU Athletic program.
Tony was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. The funeral services will be held at the Dover Hills Chapel on 3625 E. Dover Hill Drive (7660 S.) on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S. (Bengal Blvd.) In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.Service Information
