Anne Sowby Gillette

Anne Sowby Gillette, beloved mother, sister, and aunt, passed away on March 9, 2017, from advanced Alzheimer’s disease.  Born April 23, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lawrence and Wilma Sowby. She attended Garfield Elementary, Brockbank Junior High, graduating from Cypress High in Magna, Utah; after which she attended business school in Salt Lake City.  Her greatest joy was her daughter, and their pet dogs that they both loved dearly.  Survivors include her angel daughter Kenna Anne; her brother, Larry B Sowby; sisters Mary S. Whipple and Thelma S. Alaniz.  A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, UT.  To leave online condolences please go to www.memorialutah.com.
