Annalene Jenkins

March 11, 1941 — July 31, 2015

Patricia) Annalene Jenkins, a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away early the morning of 7/31/2015 due to long-term health complications. She was 74 years old. The youngest of Arden and Martha Toombs’s four children, Annalene was born on March 11, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Annalene was extremely generous with her time and her love. She was always the first person one would call after a hard day. She set an incredible example of bravery, sensitivity, humor, and humility. A spirited woman, she always encouraged her family to do their best and get the most out of life. She will be remembered for her boisterous personality and unconditional love.
Annalene had wonderful friends and was happy to spend time with them. Many friendships grew from her associations during her 20-plus years working for Intermountain Healthcare. Annalene was always up for an adventure. In recent years, her trips to Mazatlan, Mexico with her friend Patty Dulle were treasured memories.
Annalene was an exceptional mother; fierce in her love and devotion. She would do anything for her adored children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, learning their interests, and even teaching some to cook.
Annalene is survived by her three children and nine grandchildren: Jon, Norman and his wife Lara (Rachel, Ashley, Lauren, Kyle), and Melanie and her husband Benjamin Rogers (Ryley, Maxwell, Michael, Marcus, Andrea). All of whom will miss her greatly.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Regina Dreuding and the staff at the Comprehensive Care Clinic for the time and effort spent to extend her quality of life. We are also grateful to the staff at Care Source for their kindness to Mom, and our families, in her final days.
A graveside service will be held at Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah 84123), Friday at 11:00 AM. We invite all who would like to honor her life to attend a memorial open house that will be held at Epic Casual Dining (707 East Fort Union Blvd. Midvale, Utah) on Sunday August 9th 2:00-5:00 PM. #grahamcrackerjenkins
