“Well done my good and faithful servant”. Those were the words our beloved beautiful mother heard as she passed from this earth to eternal glory with her Savior Jesus Christ. Anna Elene (Andersen) Minardi, born April 16, 1943 in SLC, Utah to Marie Shepherd Andersen and Lloyd Norman Andersen passed away at age 72 on May 17, 2015. Loving mother to Stormy (Craig) Scharp, Christie (Troy) Eyre, and Paul “Bup” (Janie) Minardi. Grams to Justin (Jen), Rachael, Jessika, Michael, Brandy, Jacob (Karissa), Justus, Jacey, Kylee (Brock), Jennifer, and great Grammy of 8. She was also honored to be called mother, grandma, aunt, counselor, and friend to so many others who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her sister Norma, brother Lloyd, and preceded in death by her sister Audrey and brothers Oliver Hoyt and Carl. Anna loved the Lord and had a passion for showing unconditional love and forgiveness to so many individuals, especially women in the Good News Jail Ministry where she counseled for over 10 years. She was a mentor to many individuals; at her church Calvary Chapel and in the Bible studies she taught for the last 20 years.
A viewing will be held Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Calvary Chapel located at 460 W Century Drive, (4350 S) SLC, UT from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with services immediately afterwards. Graveside services following at Mountain View Memorial Estates located at 3115 E 7800 S at 2:00. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you make a donation to the local Good News Jail Ministry http://local.goodnewsjail.org/salt-lake/ and continue her passion for those in that ministry.
