Ann Marie Dunton, 63 of Taylorsville, Utah passed away on November 20, 2019 at home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.
Ann was born January 24, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lee and Athalee Nielsen. She grew up in Orange County, California and then moved back to Taylorsville, Utah as a teenager.
Ann married the love of her life, Michael Dunton, on March 18, 1983. Together they have three children Lisa Dunton, Tiffany (Efraim) Martinez, and Amy (Steven) Monroe, as well as 3 grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Athalee Nielsen, sister Pamela (Randy) Harrison, brothers Bruce (Stacey) Nielsen, Dale (Stacie) Nielsen, and David (Melissa) Nielsen, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Lee, mother in law Louise, father in law Ronald, as well as many aunts and uncles.
Ann was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many years in the primary. Ann had a love for all children and one of her favorite things in the world was spending time with her three grandchildren Kiana, Olivia, and Milo. Her loving influence and caring nature will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery Redwood at 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT 84123 on Friday, November 29th at 2:00pm. Family and close friends may gather before the services starting at 1:00pm.Service Information
