Andrew Michael Galloway

Our special Angel Andrew was born September 19, 1986 in Salt Lake City to Cindi Xiras-Keane and Brian Galloway. We have been so blessed to have had him for 33 years (especially when he was not given one year to live at birth).  His smile was contagious, and he never found a person he did not like, especially the girls. He was a flirt and a tease, making people smile and laugh. He loved music, movies and people “getting his belly.”
He attended Jordan Valley School in Salt Lake City; he was in Touched by an Angel TV show (his vocal) as background sounds because he was always pretty loud. We will miss his smile, mouth noises, his joy and pure love you could see in his BIG BLUE eyes for everyone.
He is now out of pain and the body that was unequipped to handle his vivacious personality. We know he is in Heaven running and singing in the beautiful fields for the first time ever. We love you Andrew, we will miss you deeply. You will never be forgotten. We know you will always be watching over us along with your Papu Joe, Grandma Kelly and Georgie Porgie
He is survived by his family, Brian & Lindsie Galloway, Cindi & John Keane, Krystle & Weston Gardner, Nicholas Galloway, Demri, Kaden & Kyler Davie, Yiayia Karen Xiras, Several Aunts and Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and all others that had a part of his life.  The family would like to express our thanks to IMC Murry and all their staff for the professionalism and care they provided in his short time there. We would also like to thank TURN Community Services in Midvale for all their love and support during his time with them. A special thanks to Cori Sizemore for her undivided care for the last 7 years being his morning caretaker.
As his Grandma once wrote,” Give my sight to the man who has never seen a sunrise, a baby’s face, or love in eyes of a woman… If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed, word, or SMILE to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.” In memory of both; Andrew has given the sense of sight to someone in need so that his legacy will live on through them. May your memory be eternal.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held two hours prior to services at the same location. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to TURN Community Services in Andrew’s name to their main office at 423 W 800 S Suite A200, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 to help provide services and support for others like him, or Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church.
