Andrew Bath

February 22, 1930 — March 10, 2020

Died on March 10, 2020 after many years of struggling with ongoing health issues. He kept his sense of humor and died on his own terms.
Andy was born February 22, 1930 to Andrew C. Bath and Eula Marie Royer.
Andy married Carol Swensen and had four children. They later divorced. Andy married the love of his life, Eva Z. Nielson on September 12, 1980 in Samak, Utah where they loved spending time at their property cooking a hotdog over a fire and watching and listening to the Beaver Creek. They loved the Washington, St. George area where they lived and spent most of their time.
Andy was a Veteran of the Korean War. He joined the Navy at 17 years of age, needing his parent’s approval.
He began his career at Interstate Brick Company working for his Dad and later ventured on his own, starting his own trucking company.  He worked at Security Title and retired from the SLC School District bussing troubled kids who really loved him. He and Eva loved travelling with the Home Builders Association.
Survived by wife, Eva Z. Bath; sisters: Jean Pass and Peggy Wallace; children: Mikel Bath (Shauna), Sherille Sheffield (Bob), Terry Druce, Andy Bath (Candy), Cal Nielson (Ann), Kathy Nielson, Darrel Nielson (Mary), Christine Wayman (Terry), Marie Nielson (Kim), and Allen Nielson (Vilate).
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Great-Great-Grandfather of many.
Preceeded in death by Eva’s son Joseph Nielson, parents, great-grandson, and great-granddaughters.
The family wishes to thank the Dixie Regional Hospital Staff.
Services will be held at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary on 3115 E. 7800 S., Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121. The viewing is on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on March 16, 2020 one hour before the funeral at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Funeral will be March 16, 2020. at 11:00 am.
