She was born on March 12, 1946 in Santa Ana, El Salvador to Juan Martinez and Carmen Regalado. She loved her home in El Salvador and would always tell everyone how beautiful it was over there. She would always go back and visit when ever she had the chance.
She was adventurous and loved exploring new places. She never liked being a home body and always wanted to go out and do something. She loved socializing with her friends and family. She loved talking to all of her nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. All the grandkids to this day still call her Mama Tencha.
Mama Tencha was very family oriented. She loved cooking and planning parties for her family. It was always a party with her. She enjoyed listening to all types of music and could not wait to dance. She was a child at heart and showed all of us the importance of enjoying life.
