Amy Bernice Johnson

July 20, 1921 — December 23, 2016

Amy Bernice Brown Johnson was born on July 20, 1921 to Amy Rose Fernley Brown and Jared Brown.
On December 23, 2016, she returned home to her husband Jesse Royal Johnson, her daughter Linda Peery and to all her other beloved family members that preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons Melvin R. Johnson and Allen L. Johnson and his wife Rosanne Johnson with their children and grandchildren, and oldest daughter Dorothy Ann Garnes and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
“Bernice” was a model of Christ like love with an unsurpassed reverence for the Lord. She served many decades doing temple work and teaching the gospel in the primary program, as well as serving a mission with her husband in the early 1980s. Her joy was in her family, temple work, and teaching the children. She is fondly remembered as a sweet and gentle spirit who was so inviting to be around. While she will be missed, the beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that families are forever. Until we meet again our dear, sweet, beloved “Bernice.”
