Alisa Mitchell Averett

Alisa Mitchell Averett was born June 11, 1968.  Our sweet Alisa passed away on February 1, 2020. She is survived by a loving family and many, many friends.
Alisa was a kind, loving, generous person.  She had an incredible way of finding pleasure and happiness everyday in the simple things.
Alisa loved being a Mom, and her three sons were her biggest source of joy and pride.  They love her deeply.  She was a loving, caring and funny mom, who filled their home and lives with laughter.
Alisa loved being a Grandma and her grandson was the light of her life.  She spent hours playing with him and creating silly, fun things for them to do together.
Alisa was a wonderful daughter and a sweet, fun sister to her siblings who loved her so much.
Alisa loved her nieces, and enjoyed making and giving them cute, unique gifts and calling them by funny nicknames.  Her oldest niece was like a daughter to her, and to her Alisa was “the best.”
Anyone who knew Alisa was touched by her beautiful spirit.  She was gentle, accepting and non-judgmental.  Her great sense of humor reminded everyone that life should be happy and light.
She planted flowers in her garden, floated in her pool, and rode her bike.  She loved listening to music, doing crafts and coloring.
Alisa was an amazing person who is loved by everyone who knew her, and will be missed by so many.  She made this world a light and brighter place with her loving, kind, happy energy.
