Alice “Lavonne” Ashby Palmer

LaVonne was reunited with her family in heaven on October 30, 2017.  Born on July 3, 1929, in Delta, Utah to Clifford and Lucille Ashby.  She was married to Charles Palmer.  She was fun loving and loved to socialize.  She had a great sense of humor and her laughter was contagious.   She raised nine children and enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved all animals, and always listened to music.  In her younger years she enjoyed woodworking, sewing doll clothes, and was very good at sketching art.  She is survived by her children Robert Stewart, Wayne (Sherry) Stewart, Steve Stewart, Randy (Toni) Stewart, Marianna (Dan) Leavitt, Terry (Marco Sanchez) Carter, Charlene (Alan Lang) Palmer, and Stuart (Mindi) Palmer, and 17 grandchildren, several granddogs and 24 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; sister Jeavene (Merle) Oliver, brothers Roger, Ross, Bob, and Louis, her husband Charles, and daughter Traci Dawn Carter.    The family would like to acknowledge and thank her extended family at Sunrise Assisted Living of Sandy and Andrea and the team at CNS for her loving care for the past eight years.  A celebration of life is being held at a later date.
