Alfred “Al” L. Tucker (67 years old) died peacefully at home on September 1, 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT, surrounded by family.
Born August 7, 1946 to Gertrude and Nathaniel Tucker in Chicago, Illinois. Married Lana Gingell Smith on July 6, 2000.
Al served honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He attended schools in Chicago prior to moving to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. He worked mostly in customer service, investment services, sales, and banking.
He is survived by his wife; son, Marvell, daughter-in-law, Christine, and grandson Thomas; step-daughter, Andrea, and husband, Taylor; sister, Joyce Massey; brothers Allen Tucker and Alvin Tucker

Funeral Services will be held Friday September 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Deseret Mortuary. Interment at Utah Veterans Memorial Park in Bluffdale. Funeral Directors: Deseret Mortuary
