Alden James Bullock of Salt Lake City, Utah was called home on December 8, 2018 due to complications of cancer. He married LuNell Lowe on June 12, 1974 Salt Lake City. Their marriage was solemnized one year later on June 13, 1975 in the Provo Temple. Alden served in the Army from 1966 to 1969 in Germany. He worked for Granite School District delivering school lunches for 24 years, retiring in 2009. He also worked for Custom Floors laying carpet, and Deseret Industries where he often times commented, “Every donation is someone else’s treasure.” Alden was also a security guard for 18 years.
Alden is preceded in death by his father Burtice Bullock, mother Vera Clark, brother Dale from Mesa, Arizona, sister Georgina from Vernal along with many aunts, uncles and other family members. He is survived by his sweet wife, LuNell Bullock, son Blair and Daughter Jamee and one brother Boyd (Judy). Alden loved his wife with all of his heart, and was also very proud of his son and daughter, and all they have accomplished. Alden was close to his brother, always worrying about his health. His daughter Jamee would like to add, “Dad, thank you for sharing your love of music! I love you.” Alden will truly be missed.
There will be a viewing for Alden on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6-8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road. West Jordan, Utah 84123. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at the Meadow Ward Building, 1955 West 400 North at 12:00 PM with a viewing 1 hour prior. An interment will follow services at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Blvd, with full military honors.Service Information
