Albert Joe Leyba

Albert Joe Leyba passed away August 14, 2021 in Bountiful, Utah.  He was born 1 of 10 beautiful children in Alamosa, Colorado to Geronimo “Jerry” Isaac Leyba and Sophia Archuletta-Leyba. He married Martha Mary Leyba on February 17, 1966.  he worked hard in his beautiful yard and on his farm in the West Bountiful.  he was an avid hunter and skilled fisher.  he was a proud member and received an honorable discharge as a Corporal from the Army of the United States on the 25th day of June 1952 and served with the American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife Martha Mary Leyba his daughter; Laurie Leyba- Bunnel and son Jerry David Leyba.  He is preceded in death by his parents, some siblings, his son; Jesse Albert Leyba and daughter Patricia Littlefair.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM under the Memorial Lakeview Mortuary Canopy.  A viewing will take place 1hr prior to the funeral in the building. Interment will follow at Memorial Lake View Cemetery.
