Afton Davis

Afton Davis passed peacefully away on November 20, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born on June 24, 1922 in Murray, Utah to Luke and Thracy Morris. She married Boyd Clyde Davis on September 28, 1940. Afton enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and RV adventures with family and friends. She also found joy in gardening, sewing, and playing her favorite songs on the piano and organ. She is survived by her husband Boyd and children; Dianna (Steven) Day, Wayne (Becky) Davis, Jimmy (Jasmin) Davis, as well as Rue Morris, LeVelle Morris, LeVonne Leigh, and Kaaren Davis. She is preceded in death by her son Larry Davis, her grandson Jeffery Davis, brothers Ben and Don Morris, and sisters Carol Morrison and Alta Meissner. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Murray Memorial (5850 South 900 East). A chapel service will start at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 East 10600 South, Sandy).
