Our first born, our only son…
Ace Johnathan Culley-Martinez AJ passed in his sleep in the early morning hours of 12-7-17. He was born 8-1-86, four weeks premature and weighing in at only 5 pounds. Who knew the heavy impact he would eventually make on our lives.
AJ was a brain injury survivor and through all his surgeries, we convinced him that scars are cool. That set the tone for how he lived his life; fierce, unafraid, a warrior.
Ace loved his bicycle, swimming, coloring, drawing, video games, cooking, eating and writing his Christmas and birthday list months ahead of time.
We will all miss his crooked smile, sarcastic comments, his sneaky ways, and vivacious spirit. A fighter through and through.
Survived by his mom and dad; Tiffany & Tony. His two sisters; Destiny & Mercedes (Roman). His two nieces; Venice & London. His two nephews; Rey & Matthew. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and so many friends.
Special thanks, gratitude and respect to all the staff at Chrysalis. You are all considered family. With our deepest love to Marc for being with Ace during his last moments. We cannot express the comfort we have in knowing he wasn’t alone.
We love you Ace. We are going to miss you so much. Our hearts are so heavy with sadness but you being free from pain & restriction gives us a sliver of comfort. Run free Ace-man, you will never be forgotten…Service Information
